Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ZetiCeta AS ("we", "us"), the studio behind Fractured North, handles personal data collected through this website (fracturednorth.com). We are based in Norway, and we process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

We keep this simple on purpose: the only personal data we actively collect is the email address you give us if you choose to join our mailing list. We do not run advertising or tracking, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect and why

Your email address — only if you submit it through our signup form, so we can send you Fractured North development news and playtest invitations.
Basic server logs — like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. [Confirm and name your host, e.g. "hosted on Netlify".]

Legal basis

We rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) to send you emails. You give that consent by signing up, and you can withdraw it at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect anything else.

Who processes your data

We use MailerLite to manage our mailing list and send emails. MailerLite acts as our data processor under a data processing agreement. You can read how they handle data in the MailerLite Privacy Policy. Some processing may take place outside Norway/the EEA; where that happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, we delete your address from our active list.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run web analytics. Fonts and all site assets are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not share your data with third-party font or CDN providers.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
withdraw your consent at any time;
receive your data in a portable format;
object to or restrict certain processing.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above.
